Department of Process Control

The focus of the Department is on teaching subjects in the follow-on Master´s Degree studies programme in the study discipline: Automatic Control and Informatics. The Department also contribute to the tuition of subjects in the study discipline: Informatics and Control Technology, Security Technology, Systems and Management and Information Technology in Administration in the Bachelor´s Degree study programme as well as subjects in the study disciplines: Security Technology, Systems and Management, Information Technology, Integrated Systems in Buildings and Computers and Communication Systems in the follow-on Master´s Degree studies programme. The Department also assure the provision of certain subjects for the Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management and Physical Training Department.

Four of the faculty staff are Tutor/Mentors in the four-year Ph.D. study programme Automatic Control and Informatics, where they are also examiners of a range of subjects.

The Research and Development activities of the departmental staff are oriented on the fields of Modelling, Identification and Simulation of Technological Processes, Adaptive, Non-linear and Predictive Control and Modern Synthesis Method Applications in Technological Process Design.
