International Affairs

Part of our collaborative ventures with partner institutions abroad takes place within the framework of the Socrates/Erasmus programme. Of which we can mention the following:

  • Instituto Politecnico de Beja, Romania
  • Ruhr-Universitat Bochum, Germany
  • University of Technology and Economics Budapest, Hungary
  • Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt, Austria
  • Politécnido do Porto, Porto, Portugal

A range of teacher and Master´s and Ph.D. student study-exchanges have been realised with the above-mentioned institutions. Our staff delivering lectures to the staff and students of our partner institutions, while some of their teaching staffs on the contrary delivered their lectures to our staff and students.

A further part of our collaborative ventures with foreign as well as domestic workplaces is oriented on scientific, research and pedagogical problems. This especially concerns the exchange of research results, the assessment of Ph.D. thesis submissions, working together on resolving concrete research problems, joint-publications, and mutual participation in resolving grants, the creation of specialised sections at distinguished international conferences, lectures for Ph.D. and Master´s Degree students and certain other activities.
